To screen our fortnightly movies we rely on a dedicated group of volunteers. We are always looking for new helpers so please consider joining our volunteer team. Tasks are easy and you will be working with a great bunch of people. We look after our volunteers by providing rewards including one or more of the following: free meals, free drinks, free entry.
Consider putting your name down for any of the following tasks:
Hall Set up /Pull down (HS1): set up furniture (tables & chairs); help with screen.
Electrical/Traffic control (HS2): lower screen; check with projectionist, set up lights and microphone, lights for ticket sellers, canteen & T&C, help setting up and dismantle, clearing tables (glasses to bar, crockery and cutlery to kitchen), clean up at end.
Tea and Coffee Table: Set up table, urn, go to IGA for milk and other required items, check float, serve patrons, wash up/clear away at end of night.
Membership Table: set up membership table. Promote memberships to patrons entering for film nights, help with tea and coffee and washing up after the film.
Slice Maker: Each film night we provide slices to sell with tea and coffee if you go on this roster you will be asked to provide slices once or twice per year .
